Introduction

There are two different ways of creating PDF documents.

Method A: Basic Exporting

The first is to use File->Export and choose PDF as the file type. This will use a default layout for saving your scene on a single page to a PDF document. You can also create your own templates for single pages.

Method B: Page Designer

The second method is to design the PDF Pages using the Page Designer which uses the new Vector Graphics System.

• You can add as many PDF documents to your scene as you need and add as many Pages to your PDF document as you require.
• The Page Designer System allows you to place your 3D View on the page and also has additional elements to style the page itself.
• You can animate your objects and cameras in the scene via interactive buttons that you place on the page.
• In addition to animation you can also switch, cameras, takes, rendering and lighting styles.
• It also has support for rendering camera views and support for the Takes System.
